After an incredible two-time Pulitzer Prize winning career as a photojournalist, it’s hard to imagine anything that can follow. For me, it was a 10 year run at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, photographing the World’s best-of- the-best scientists, engineers and researchers dedicated to inventing and developing sustainable, affordable, clean energy technologies.

My everyday job at the Lab could take me atop a 250 foot wind turbine, into labs photographing laser beams, perovskites, thin films, batteries, biofuels, research labs or onsite every kind of utility scale plant imaginable. I have extensive safety training, including; high fall protection, lift operation, lab safety and cyber security. After Covid, I decided to return to freelancing.

I bring a world class talent, experience, calm presence and cooperation to your projects.

Most of the images on this site were taken at the National Renewable Energy Lab and can be found on the National Renewable Energy Lab Image Gallery.
